I suffer from chapped lips all winter long. It seems that no matter how much water I drink or how much chapstick I put on my lips, they are still cracked and nasty. But not anymore! I've discovered the magic that is a lip scrub.
What's nice about a lip scrub is that you can make it with ingredients found in your pantry and you see results instantly!
What You Need:
Brown Sugar
Olive Oil
Honey
A Small Dish
A Wash Cloth
So it's winter and you want to wear some lipstick or kiss someone without cutting them on your lip razors.
The first thing you need to do is combine a 1/4 tsp of all three ingredients into your dish.
Then you're going to lightly scrub this in a circular motion on your lips. Try your hardest not to let your tongue touch it because it tastes terrible! Let this sit for about 30 seconds.
Then take a washcloth and get it wet under warm water and scrub off the scrub in a circular motion. Repeat one more time for severely chapped lips.
After this, apply some basic chapstick on your lips. You can also just put a little olive oil on a q-tip and use that as well in place of chapstick.
You can repeat this 1-2 times a week if you suffer from really bad chapped lips. Most people should be fine with once a week in the winter time.

ReplyDeleteSaweeet! I randomly stumble across ideas but I'm definitely going to check out that site. Thanks a bunch!
DeleteI just tried this for the first time. So far, so good. I'm excited to see how well it works. Is your taste warning sarcastic, or am I not using the correct ingredients? Mine tastes like cookies! I had to stop myself from eating the leftover.
