DIY: Spiral My Bangle

One accessory that I am forever addicted to is bangles. I freaking love bangles! But every now and then I buy a set of bangles thinking that I'm going to wear them with some out fit, then I buy them and realize that no... I will not be wearing those with the outfit I intended for. Well, these have started to pile up.

Now, to stop my bad habit of buying new bangles I'm instead going to re-purpose them into new bangles. Tonight's tutorial is one of my bangle experiments.

What you need:
Polymer Clay (preferably 2 contrasting colors)
Bangle/Bracelet

First start by covering your bangle in your main color. I chose a nice army green. To get out the fingerprints you can lightly roll over it with something round. I used a knitting needle.

Then cover it in these coils. These are super simple to make. Just take a contrasting color and roll really tiny tubes with it.

Then take the tubes and coil them up like that. Then place them on the bracelet. When you bake the bracelet, it'll make the two pieces fuse together.

Then bake it for the amount of time that it says on the package of clay. Easy peasy! The above picture is the finished project with two other bracelets I did. Tutorials are to come!
